General Guidelines

  • Submit all online proposals in English.
  • Proposals must be original and address technology issues or various aspects of ITS like institutional, business, societal, or economic.
  • All submissions must include the name, organisation, country and email address of the paper author/ SIS & SFS organiser.
  • SIS & SFS proposals must also include these details for the moderator, and must include at least three confirmed speakers.
  • All Paper submissions must be in the template on the submission portal.
  • All session speakers, moderators and paper presenters must register by the speaker/moderator deadline and pay the appropriate Congress fee.
  • Sessions without registered speakers by the deadline may lose slots to others.
  • Acceptance isn’t linked to sponsorship, which is negotiated separately.

Notifications

  • Session organisers will receive IPC decisions via email by the stated deadline.
    • Certain organisers might be requested to merge sessions to prevent repetition.
    • Speaker confirmations will also be requested.
  • Conditionally accepted papers must address reviewers’ feedback to gain full acceptance.
  • Authors of fully accepted papers can make updates closer to the Congress date.

For All Submissions

  • Each completed submission will receive an auto-generated acknowledgment email with the ID number and contact details of the submitter. This confirmation of receipt does not signify acceptance.
  • Please note: Committing to more than two Specialist Sessions as a speaker or a moderator may result in scheduling conflicts that organisers can’t resolve.
  • While planning your travel, remember that specialist sessions will be scheduled between 09:00 AM on Monday, September 16, and 03:00 PM on Friday, September 20. Exact dates/times will be sent in early May 2024.
  • The organisers will thoughtfully arrange session distribution, providing maximum options for delegates, moderators, and speakers. Due to a final program involving over 500 speakers and moderators, changing session slots is highly unlikely.
  • Detailed submission guidelines are available on the submission portal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE!
